About Scot
Scot Menzies is a partner and co-founder of WK Family Lawyers LLP, practicing family law exclusively since 2003 after beginning his career as a general civil and commercial litigator. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2000 and was previously a partner at Soby Boyden Lenz before helping found WK Family Lawyers. Scot takes a collaborative, resolution-focused approach to family law matters while maintaining an active litigation practice at all levels of court in Alberta. He has taught as a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law and has lectured extensively for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the National Family Law Program. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2019 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
