About Peter

Peter Hryniuk is counsel at WK Family Lawyers LLP and has practiced family law for over 30 years across three western Canadian provinces, the last 20 of them in Calgary. He has been a mediator since 1995 and also acts as an arbitrator, typically handling complex matrimonial matters involving business valuations, family trusts, estate freezes, and support calculations tied to dividends, bonuses, and deferred compensation. Peter regularly works with accountants, business valuators, and tax professionals to resolve family property and support issues, and has appeared at all levels of the Alberta courts. He has been named one of the Best Lawyers in Canada since 2010.
