About Savena
Savena K. Bhangal became a member of the Law Society of Ontario in 2022. She grew up around criminal law practice, having worked alongside her father from a young age, and has assisted on cases involving impaired driving, sexual assault, assault, theft, and drug and weapons offences. Her work has included negotiations, legal research, trial preparation and court appearances. She earned her law degree from the University of Leicester in 2020, valuing the chance to study common law in its country of origin, then went on to complete an LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto in 2021 to build her career as a lawyer in Canada. She is committed to ensuring fair treatment for those caught up in the legal system.
