Family law is the core of Sapphire Adaikpoh's practice at Sage Law Group, where the work centres on people and families facing a hard transition and wanting clarity and compassion as they get through it. Sapphire's also handled immigration and employment matters and draws on that experience when a client's legal issues cross into more than one area.

Sapphire's career covers more than ten years across Nigeria and Canada. Family law was already part of that work before the move to Canada. Admission to the Ontario Bar came in 2024, and Sapphire's now an associate with the firm.

Working through problems together matters to Sapphire, who's increasingly drawn to collaborative law. That approach sits alongside a background in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, so the aim is a practical, respectful resolution, with court still an option when a case needs it. Clients can count on a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive manner built on empathy. Outside work, Sapphire reads, catches up on favourite TV shows and makes time for family.
