About Sakib

Sakib Alam is a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public at Cozmo Law, focused on real estate law and wills and estates. His real estate practice covers buying and selling residential property, buying and selling businesses and assets, mortgage refinancing, acting for borrowers and lenders in private mortgage transactions, and registering property instruments including survivorship applications, severances, and liens, across Ontario. He also assists with the preparation of wills and powers of attorney for property and personal care. Alam was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn in London in 2003 after earning an LL.B. from the University of London in 2002, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 after completing the Internationally Trained Lawyers Program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He also holds memberships with the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association and the Bangladesh Bar Council.
