About Saad

Saad Mirza is the founder of Thrive Law, an employment law firm representing both employees and employers across Ontario. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in a range of roles across industries, including customer service, retail, field marketing, court administration, and insurance claims, and he draws on that experience to understand workplace dynamics from multiple sides. After being called to the Ontario Bar, he worked as in-house counsel at Cineplex and Huawei Technologies, where he managed layoffs and saw firsthand how employees were treated during difficult transitions. He has completed specialized negotiation training through the Stitt Feld Handy course and has been licensed with the Law Society of Ontario since 2020. He speaks English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, and French.
