About Ryan

Ryan Patmore is a Calgary-born criminal defence lawyer with nearly 15 years of experience defending clients across Western Canada, including cases involving sexual offences, drug offences, and driving offences such as impaired driving. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 2007 and his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2012. Before law school, Ryan clerked in the Provincial Court of Alberta's Criminal Division and spent a summer working alongside senior Crown prosecutors in Winnipeg, preparing a range of criminal files. His practice today focuses on strategic criminal advocacy, from bail hearings and Crown negotiations through to trial.
