About Rubaina

Rubaina Singh works as an associate at Schofield Macchia, focusing her criminal defence practice on serious drug and firearm offences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from St. Thomas University in New Brunswick before completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor in 2019, where she received the Honourable Walter S. Tarnopolsky Award for her commitment to equality and human rights. She previously worked as a caseworker at Windsor's Community Legal Aid Clinic and served as a judicial intern for two justices of the Ontario Court of Justice. Rubaina also assists clients with immigration, refugee, and citizenship matters, and speaks both Hindi and Punjabi.
