About Ross

Ross Nicholson founded Nicholson, Smith, Litigation Lawyers in 1981 as one of the first exclusively litigation law firms in London, Ontario, envisioning a boutique practice handling personal and corporate lawsuits as well as criminal litigation. Nicholson was previously a partner at Lerner & Associates, where a young articling student named Scott Smith joined in 1979 and the two went on to practise law together. In July 1988, Nicholson and Smith formed Nicholson, Smith, and in 2008 the firm was renamed Nicholson, Smith & Partners LLP when John Watson, Scott Tottle, and Spencer Nicholson joined as partners. As of December 31, 2011, Nicholson stepped back from the partnership to continue with the firm as counsel.
