Roger Baker is the principal lawyer and founder of Baker Law Firm, with a practice focused on commercial litigation, civil disputes and insolvency matters. Before entering law, he spent more than a decade as an executive and director in Calgary's upstream oil and gas sector, giving him a practical understanding of the commercial realities faced by clients in energy, finance and related industries. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan. Roger has appeared before the Court of King's Bench in Alberta and the superior courts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario, and several of his files have resulted in written decisions from the appellate courts in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
