About Matthew

Matthew Olson founded Olson Law Group in 2016 after practicing at a major national law firm in Calgary since 2007. A long-time resident of Okotoks, Olson provides corporate legal advice covering business formation and structure, incorporations, partnerships, shareholder agreements, corporate finance, and business sales and purchases. Olson also practices real estate law, commercial law including lease and agreement negotiation, start-up company law, and wills and estates law, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and personal directives and handling probate and administration applications. Olson earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2007 with distinction and first class standing, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calgary in 2004, also with distinction. Olson is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
