About Robert

Robert M. Joseph is a partner of Tutino Joseph Grégoire and heads its Commercial, Tax and Wills, Trusts and Estates departments. He received his Bachelor of Civil Law and Common Law from McGill University in 1989 and later completed a Graduate Diploma in Taxation at McGill, where he has taught the taxation of trusts and spoken at seminars for accountants and financial planners. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in tax law since 2021, is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and sits on the board of two charitable organizations. His practice focuses on income tax planning for Canadian private corporations and their owners, corporate reorganizations and tax dispute resolution. He regularly handles estate and succession planning and administration, has represented both estate liquidators and beneficiaries in estate disputes, and advises on mergers and acquisitions, business sales, shareholder agreements, trusts and acquisition structures.
