About Robert

Robert J. Sawers founded Calgary Employment Lawyers and serves as its managing counsel, representing employees in wrongful dismissal, non-competition, disability claims, and employment board matters. Before founding the firm, he worked as a criminal prosecutor with Ontario's Special Prosecutions office, the Provincial Offences Prosecutions office, the federal Department of Justice, and Alberta's Attorney General's office, where he led numerous jury and non-jury trials involving organized crime and narcotics. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1989, the Alberta bar in 1995, and the British Columbia bar in 2005, and is also admitted in the Northwest Territories.
