About Robert

Robert Gunnarsson is the sole proprietor of Gunnarsson Law, with more than two decades of litigation experience. Before establishing the firm, he practised at a major downtown Vancouver law firm and with smaller litigation firms. He represents employees in wrongful dismissal, severance, constructive dismissal, employment contract, and workplace discrimination disputes, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia, with involvement in proceedings before the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also represented clients before administrative tribunals, including the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, and previously served as an adjudicator with a provincial tribunal. Originally from Iceland, Robert holds a Master's degree in philosophy from UBC and earned his law degree at the University of Victoria.
