He practises intellectual property law, with a focus on the acquisition, protection and commercialization of intellectual property rights in chemical and mechanical technologies. He has experience in patent drafting and prosecution covering chemicals, oil and gas drilling equipment, process control systems, manufacturing equipment, and medical devices. He also has experience in trademark prosecution and commercial transactions relating to IP. Prior to practising law, he worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry.
