About Robby

Robby Ash is primarily a criminal defence lawyer representing individuals and corporations charged with serious offences, and has appeared at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador, in courts in other provinces, and before the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also handles personal injury and other civil litigation matters. He currently sits on the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador's Bar and Bench Committee and the Newfoundland and Labrador Court of Appeal's Criminal Appeal Rules Committee, and is a former adjudicator for the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission and case reviewer for the Association in Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted. Ash was born and raised on the west coast of Newfoundland and has practiced there since being called to the bar in 2008.
