About Richie
Richie Wong is a business lawyer and founder of Geocord Law Corporation. He holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and a J.D. from the University of Hong Kong, and has worked in both Hong Kong and Vancouver. His practice spans commercial transactions such as the purchase and sale of restaurants, manufacturing and trading companies, hair salons, franchises, financial brokerages, schools and a commercial airline; corporate and securities work including incorporations, Personal Real Estate Corporations, corporate restructuring, tax rollovers and amalgamations; advice to nonprofit organizations on charity status and financing; real estate matters from land acquisition to rezoning and commercial leases; and wills and estate planning, including probate applications, wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and trust agreements. He holds director and advisory roles with several nonprofit organizations, including the Chinese Federation of Commerce of Canada and the Richmond Chinese Community Society, and is a past president of the Vancouver Diamond Lions Club. Wong is fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua (Mandarin).
