About Richard

Richard P. Salis is a partner at Levy Salis LLP and has been a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec since 2007. Before becoming a notary he was a member of the Quebec Bar from 2004 to 2006, practising civil litigation, corporate law, real estate law and Quebec estates. His current practice focuses on tax and estate planning, the settlement of estates, protective supervision regimes for incapacitated persons, the homologation of protection mandates, and Quebec residential and commercial real estate transactions. He is a frequent speaker on Quebec estate planning and estate settlement. Salis holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Montreal (2002) and a Diploma of Notarial Law from the same university (2006), plus a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University (1998).
