About Richard

Richard Levitt joined LLDG in 2003 and advises clients on wills and estates, commercial and residential real estate, and corporate law matters. He holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which he draws on for estate planning, trusts, and succession work for individuals, families, and business owners. He has been recognized with the Etobicoke Guardian Readers' Choice Award for Best Lawyer in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Richard has served as a director for Etobicoke Services for Seniors and has taught corporate law seminars through the Toronto Business Development Centre's Self-Employment Benefit Program. He completed an honours philosophy degree at the University of Western Ontario in 1998 before graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
