About Richard

Richard Finlay practices business law, real estate law, and estate planning and administration. He advises business owners on incorporations, shareholder and partnership agreements, and joint venture agreements, and negotiates business transactions and drafts contracts. His work includes commercial leasing, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and commercial real estate and lending transactions, as well as residential real estate purchases, sales, and refinances, wills, and estate administration. He earned a Bachelor of Physical Education with distinction from the University of Calgary in 1995 and an LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1999, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2000.
