About Reece

Reece Harding is a partner at Young Anderson whose practice focuses on local government law litigation, including judicial review, administrative law, Aboriginal law, assessment and taxation law, natural hazard risk avoidance, and governance and conflict resolution. He has appeared in the BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court, BC Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before the Property Assessment Appeal Board, Environmental Appeal Board, and Coroner's Court. Before joining Young Anderson, he worked for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the West Coast Environmental Law Association, where he also served on the board of directors. He completed the Conflict Resolution Certificate Program at the Justice Institute of BC and was appointed by the City of Surrey in July 2020 as BC's first local government ethics commissioner.
