About Rebecca

Rebecca Darnell worked in banking, as a court recorder/transcriber for the Provincial Court of BC's criminal division, and as a freelance paralegal before attending the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, graduating in 1994. She articled with the Attorney General's Legal Services Branch in Victoria and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1995, after which she opened her own family law firm in the Fraser Valley that grew into Darnell Law Group. She is certified by the Law Society of British Columbia as a Family Mediator and Arbitrator and now focuses on alternative dispute resolution along with the firm's administrative duties. She has served on the boards of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia, the Canadian Museum of Flight, and the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia, and was a past president of the Fraser Valley Bar Association.
