About Raymond

Raymond Jacquard was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and has lived in Yarmouth for most of his life. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University and a law degree from Dalhousie University in 1990, articled with Pink MacDonald Harding in Yarmouth, and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 1991. His general practice focuses on criminal law, family law, real estate, fisheries, corporate matters, wills and estates, and personal injury claims in the Yarmouth area. He serves as solicitor for the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth and represents the Department of Health in adult protection matters in Yarmouth and Digby counties, and previously served on the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal and various community boards.
