About Andrew

Andrew Nickerson began practising law in 1977 as an associate to Irving Pink, K.C., one of Eastern Canada's most respected barristers, and has since built an extensive and varied career. He works in corporate law, business acquisitions and financing, commercial law, fisheries law, and taxation, and regularly handles real estate transactions and commercial, construction, and shareholder litigation. He served on the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal from 2006 to 2013 and has been a Small Claims Court Adjudicator in Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, and Annapolis Royal since 2014. He represents leading Western Nova Scotia companies, has handled matters for clients doing business in Africa and Southeast Asia, and has appeared before the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
