About Raman

Raman Kandola is a Surrey-based criminal defence lawyer with more than six years of experience who has defended over 600 criminal cases across British Columbia. She represents clients in both Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia and focuses exclusively on criminal defence. Kandola holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Sussex, where her academic focus included criminal organizations, youth offenders, and intimate partner violence. She was called to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2020.
