About Puya
Puya J. Fesharaki is a partner in TGF's Restructuring and Insolvency practice group, representing debtors, lenders, and court officers in complicated domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as an analyst for Fortune 100 companies, experience he draws on when advising clients through financial distress. His matters have included the CBCA proceedings for Ravelin Properties REIT, the CCAA restructuring of the Pride Group's trucking and logistics business, and Canadian recognition proceedings for Diebold Nixdorf's cross-border restructuring. Puya has held executive roles with the Ontario Bar Association's Insolvency Section and the Advocates' Society's Insolvency Litigation Practice Group, and he mentors students and junior lawyers at the firm. He is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for insolvency and financial restructuring law.
