About Prabhjot

Prabhjot Punnia founded Summit Point Law after several years as legal counsel with the Department of Justice Canada, where she represented federal ministers and government entities before Alberta courts and the Federal Court, including defending decisions by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Canada Border Services Agency in judicial reviews and removal matters, and acted for the Government of Canada in constitutional and public law matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and was called to the Alberta Bar following a clerkship with the Court of Appeal of Alberta and articles with the Department of Justice Canada. She now focuses on complex immigration cases, criminal defence, and estate planning, and offers services in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
