About Pierre
Pierre Boileau, K.C. has practiced family law for almost 35 years, working as a mediator, collaborative family lawyer, litigator, and arbitrator, and treats litigation as a last resort in favour of interest-based negotiation. Boileau earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta and a law degree in French from the Universite de Moncton in New Brunswick, returning to Alberta to article in 1990. Boileau has been associated with Marla Miller since 1993 and has volunteered extensively, including chairing the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section - North, serving on Legal Aid's provincial Appeals Committee and Board of Directors, and lecturing for the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
