About Philippe

Philippe Thériault began his career at the Association des juristes de l'État in 1992 and has practised in private firms since 1997. He has strong litigation experience in employment law (layoffs and dismissals), individual and group disability insurance, transportation law (permits and contracts), and public administration and government relations, including claims against the state. He has also represented clients in real estate and boundary disputes, hidden defects, and neighbour disputes, along with civil and commercial litigation. He holds a certificate in political science (1985) and an LL.B. from Université Laval's Faculty of Law (1988), and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1991. He belongs to the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Bar Association.
