About Phaedra

Phaedra grew up in Kenora and later moved to Ottawa, where she completed a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology and Psychology in 2016 while working for a Member of Parliament on Parliament Hill. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in 2019, where she was part of the school's winning trial advocacy Moot Team and received academic awards in evidence law, mining law, real estate law, and wills and estates. She worked at Hook, Seller & Lundin during her law school summers and completed her articling placement there before being called to the Ontario Bar in September 2019. Phaedra joined the firm as an associate and became a partner in 2024; her practice focuses on criminal law, including regulatory offences.
