About Peter

Peter J. Mogan has been active as a lawyer, corporate director, businessman, and mediator in British Columbia and Ontario since 1978. He is known as a leading mid-market M&A legal advisor in British Columbia and has advised dozens of companies on employee ownership. He has served on more than 50 boards, 36 for-profit and 16 not-for-profit, and has chaired 12 of them, including roles in technology, wealth management, manufacturing, food production, and international non-profit governance. His current practice focuses on corporate governance consulting, liquidity and exit planning for business owners, and the design and implementation of employee ownership structures such as ESOPs, options, and phantom share plans.
