Peter C. Ghiz is a barrister and solicitor practicing independently in Charlottetown. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University in 1977, an MBA in 1979, and an LL.B. in 1988, becoming a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island in 1989 and the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 1994. Peter practices in litigation, personal injury, business law, wills and estates, family law, real property, criminal law, human rights, and administrative law, representing local, national, and international clients across all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has served on the boards of the Community Legal Information Association and Hospice PEI, and currently sits on the Law Society of Prince Edward Island's Real Property and Unauthorized Practice Committees.
