About Paul

Paul Elash earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 and his Bachelor of Laws in 1977, and he was admitted to the bar in Saskatchewan in 1978 and in Manitoba in 1982. He was appointed King's Counsel for Saskatchewan in 2016. His practice covers oil and gas, corporate and commercial matters, wills and estates, tax planning, and litigation, and he has appeared before every level of court in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, the Federal Court of Canada, and various tribunals including the Surface Rights Boards in both provinces and the Labour Relations Board. He has served as City Solicitor for the City of Estevan since 2005 and co-authored a chapter of the Saskatchewan Queen's Bench Practice Manual. He is a past two-term president of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association and has long been active locally, including with the United Way of Estevan, Estevan Minor Hockey, and the Estevan Kinsmen Club.
