About Obaidul

Obaidul Hoque co-founded OWS Law and has built a growing practice in civil litigation, commercial litigation, and administrative law. He has appeared in matters before the Federal Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as before various regulatory tribunals. His files span property, employment, contract, mortgage, and estate disputes. More recently, Obaidul has developed a strong mortgage enforcement and defence practice, helping lenders pursue recovery while also assisting borrowers who have fallen behind on mortgages or other debts. He favours careful negotiation first, turning to the courts only when it's needed. He works closely with each client to understand their goals and find a practical path forward.
