About Shahwar
Shahwar Akbar is a founding lawyer of OWS Law who was called to the Ontario bar in 2017 after earning his LLB Hons. from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. He articled with Ryerson University's General Counsel Office through the Law Practice Program in 2016. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate, including negotiating with builders and lenders on Agreements of Purchase and Sale and commercial mortgage financing, along with some estate planning and corporate work. He belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Canadian Muslim Lawyers' Association.
