About Norman
Norman Paquette is a founding partner of Paquette & Paquette, now retired. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1964 after earning a Bachelor of Arts at a Jesuit college and a law degree from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, followed by the bar admission course at Osgoode Hall. His practice focused on real estate, wills and estates, powers of attorney, and corporate law, and he handled business transactions ranging from basic incorporations to work for established corporations. He also served for years as a federal prosecutor for the Attorney General of Canada, as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court for over 30 years, and as a judge on the Canada Pension Plan Appeal Tribunal. Norman was active in the Sudbury community, serving on the board of Health Sciences North (formerly Laurentian Hospital), including two years as chairman, and as founding president of the Richelieu Club de la Vallée.
