About Nne

Nne Christiana Udo became a lawyer in 1993, earning her law degree in 1992 from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and a master's degree in Business and Commercial Law in 2006 from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. After relocating to Canada in 2009, she received her Certificate of Qualification in 2012 and was exempted from articling based on her international experience. She was admitted as a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2014 and later transferred her membership to the Law Society of Alberta, where she has practised since. Christiana founded THEBIL Family Law in 2014 and is the founder of the Alberta International Trained Female Lawyers Mentoring Network, which supports foreign-trained lawyers in Alberta. She volunteers as a lawyer with the Women's Centre of Calgary and Calgary Legal Guidance, and is a foundation member of the Legal Aid Child Representation Panel. Christiana is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
