About Negar

Negar Achtari is the senior partner at Achtari Law Professional Corporation in Ottawa. She graduated from the University of Lausanne's School of Law in Switzerland, earned an LL.M. in corporate law and finance from Widener University in Delaware, and received her LL.B. in common law from the University of Ottawa in 2002. She became a member of the New York Bar in 1998 and was called to the Ontario Bar in September 2003. Before establishing her own office in Ottawa in June 2005, she worked with the Canadian immigration law firm Bell, Unger, Riley, Morris. She offers legal services in English, French, and Farsi, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers' Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Immigration Lawyers' Association.
