About Nathalie

Nathalie McKenzie is a family mediator and lawyer with more than 25 years of experience helping families through separation, divorce, and co-parenting arrangements. As a mediator, she provides an impartial, confidential process aimed at reaching an amicable agreement rather than going to court, and her sessions qualify for a Quebec government subsidy of up to five hours for couples with children (three hours for couples without children). She has legal training but, acting as a mediator rather than as counsel, informs parties about the law rather than giving legal advice, and clients needing legal advice are referred to independent counsel. Remote sessions by Zoom, Teams, or phone are available once both parties have signed the mediation agreement.
