Real Estate LawNathalie Bédard is co-managing partner of Donati Maisonneuve and has specialized in commercial and real estate litigation since her admission to the Barreau du Québec in 1988. She handles matters arising from the ownership, leasing or financing of buildings, representing landlords, tenants, lenders, borrowers, guarantors and brokers, and covers the full range of commercial disputes, including injunctions, pre-judgment seizures, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy or restructuring files, wrongful dismissals and contract claims. She is also regularly consulted to review, negotiate or finalize commercial leases and sale or service contracts. A 1986 law graduate of the Université de Montréal, she was active for 11 years in the university's alumni association, chairing its board from 2008 to 2011, and has been involved since 2006 with CREW Mtl, an association supporting women in commercial real estate, which she chaired in 2011. She served on the board of the Fondation immobilière de Montréal pour les jeunes from 2013 to 2023, was an investigating member of the Barreau du Québec's indemnity fund committee from 2007 to 2016 and previously sat on its disciplinary council, and has chaired committees of the Barreau de Montréal.
