About Nancy

Nancy Fortin is a senior partner who holds a graduate diploma in taxation from Université de Sherbrooke. Her practice is centred on corporate law, focusing mainly on business reorganizations, acquisitions and sales, mergers, liquidations, and dissolutions across Canada. She also handles ongoing corporate and tax matters for a client base of small and medium-sized businesses located mainly in Canada, France, and the United States, and advises individuals on shareholder agreements, discretionary trusts, estate freezes, and business succession. Fortin earned her LL.B. from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2002, a graduate diploma in taxation from Université de Sherbrooke in 2011, and completed a master's degree in taxation there in 2014. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Barreau du Québec, the Barreau de Longueuil, and the Association de planification fiscale et financière.
