Monika Sievers-Redekop, LL.M., is a Barrister & Solicitor and the principal of Sievers-Redekop Law Corporation, a full-service immigration law firm in Vancouver. She was admitted to the Hamburg Bar in 1989 and to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2000, and has practised law in Tokyo, Brussels, Hamburg, and Vancouver, as well as with the European Union in Brussels and the Foreign Office in Geneva. She also served as Manager for Western Canada for the Canadian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Since 2000, her practice has focused exclusively on Canadian citizenship and immigration law, advising clients worldwide. She holds an LL.B. (2000) and an LL.M. (1991), both from the University of British Columbia, and completed her judicial state examinations in Hamburg in 1985 and 1989. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Immigration Subsection, the Law Society of British Columbia, the Hamburg Bar Association, and the Canadian-German Lawyers Association.
