Mikle Carter was born in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and grew up in the Grande Prairie, Alberta region. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts and law degrees from the University of Alberta and was called to the bar in 2003. Mikle worked as a lawyer in Grande Prairie for many years at Darryl Carter & Co. before taking time off to raise her four daughters. She moved to the Morinville area in 2021 and joined Putnam Law in August 2022, bringing her legal experience in agricultural and residential real estate, contracts, subdivision and development, corporate and commercial matters, and wills and estates.
