About Chris

Chris Sewrattan is a Certified Specialist in criminal law who conducts trials and appeals at every level of court, from impaired driving to murder. He teaches criminal procedure at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and is a contributing editor of McWilliams' Canadian Criminal Evidence. He holds Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and an honours bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Toronto, and he is included in the 2025 and 2026 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada for Criminal Defence.
