About Michael
Michael DeRosenroll founded Human Law with a mission to make human rights and human resources legal services more accessible. He has 17 years of experience practising law across Canada, representing both employees and employers, and has served as legal counsel to three directors of the Alberta Human Rights Commission. Michael is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and primarily practises in Alberta, while also offering legal services in select human rights matters as a visiting lawyer in other provinces. His practice covers human rights complaints as well as human resources issues such as terminations, harassment, and workplace disputes, delivered through a virtual, technology-enabled model.
