About Melissa

Melissa Serbin is a partner at DD West LLP. She was called to the Manitoba bar in 2009 and later to the Alberta and British Columbia bars in 2026, and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto (2008) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba (2005). Her practice covers litigation, corporate and commercial law, municipal law, and child protection, representing individuals and institutions in complex matters before courts, tribunals, and the Federal Court, including trials, appeals, mediations, and arbitrations. She also practises in Indigenous law and real estate, and takes part in legal education and professional leadership roles.
