About Melissa
Melissa Briones is the founding lawyer of Northam Law, licensed to practice law in British Columbia and in the Philippines. She brings over 18 years of multifaceted legal experience spanning commercial, business, real estate, family law, wills and estates, employment, and contract law, and has served as in-house counsel across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, real estate development, and broadcast communication. An alumna of the UP College of Law and the Rotman School of Management, Melissa is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Washington in Seattle and holds the CPHR and CIC.C professional designations. As a Filipino-Canadian lawyer, she is known to many Filipino companies in British Columbia and the Philippines as their lawyer in Vancouver.
