About Maxxmus
Maxxmus Bews is an associate lawyer at Jeffrey D. Root Law, focused on criminal defence. He graduated with Honours from the University of Leeds in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), then completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada before being called to the Ontario bar in 2026, at 22 years old, making him one of the youngest lawyers called in Ontario. Based in the Niagara Region, he represents clients throughout southern Ontario, working to explain each stage of the criminal process and provide personalized legal service.
