About Maxime

Maxime St-Onge earned his law degree from Université de Montréal in 2016 and joined Forseti as a litigation attorney in 2024. His practice concentrates on civil and commercial litigation, with expertise in shareholder disputes, construction law, and defamation matters, and his courtroom experience spans Quebec's judicial hierarchy, federal courts and select administrative tribunals. He is a member of the Société des Plaideurs and the Barreau de Montréal, teaches at the École du Barreau, and is an assistant coach for the University of Montreal's moot court teams. He represented former junior hockey players opposing settlement approval in Walter c. Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec inc. (2020).
