About Maura

Maura Thompson is a Partner at Shillington McCall LLP practising public entity litigation and catastrophic automobile and personal injury claims, with particular focus on defending historical sexual abuse claims, municipal liability, and medical, professional, and school board negligence matters, as well as Human Rights Tribunal proceedings and workplace harassment and violence investigations. Thompson holds workplace investigation certifications obtained in 2018 and an advanced certificate in 2023, serves on the boards of Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Women's Law Association of Ontario, and was recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Insurance Defence for 2025-2026.
